I try to give a little more information regarding the plugins I have installed:Īrturia Suite ("V-Collection": Analog Laboratory, ARP 2600V, CS80V, Jupiter 8V, MiniV, Modular V, Oberheim SEM V, Prophet VS, Spark Vintage, Wurlitzer V)Īudio Damage Replicant, Big Seq 2, Automatonįabfilter One & Twin 2, Saturn, Simplon, Timeless, Volcano Seriously, I'm the only one who gets this? Twice? Hmmmmh. I use a ton of plugins (all original, no cracked stuff, I respect the programmer's work), maybe there's a foul one in there that causes the problem? It's not guaranteed that the cause is the same than back on the MBP, and I installed a good 5-10 new ones in the past month: Vengeance Metrum & Stereo Bundle, Nexus 2, Sonic Charge Permut8 & Bitspeek, Fabfilter Saturn, 2cAudio Aether & B2, Arturia V-Collection (Oberheim SEM causes Logic crashes btw, I don't use it) and a few I don't recall now.Īnybody got an idea what that might cause? This is some info from the crash report: *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '*** -: attempt to insert nil object from objects' It definitely isn't hardware related as this is a 2019 MBP 16 with an 8-core i9 and 32 gb of ram. ![]() I have removed and reinstalled all my 3rd party plugins and this did nothing as this still happens with the built in plugins. In my previous projects that already are finished, all the plugins work but as you go to open them, it crashes. This happens when trying to add a new plugin to a channel strip, open a preexisting on a previous project, or when opening plugins loaded in along side software instrument patches and their sends. Unfortunately, every time I open any plugin, Logic instantly crashes. I recently updated my MacBook Pro to Big Sur and along with that, Logic to the newest patch.
